Some People Only Eat Vegetarian Food Recipes, And Here's A Few ...

You can eat meat almost everywhere you go, today. There?s an almost limitless variety of it in the supermarkets, it?s served in almost every fast food restaurant around today, and it?s even served in the most basic of school cafeterias. Living in western culture, you are completely surrounded by meat and you almost cannot escape its reach, and most would plainly ask why you?d even want to? With meat being such a staple in most of our diets and it tasting so delicious, why do some choose to avoid meat entirely and cook and serve vegetarian food recipes, exclusively?

Apparently, there are many, many different reasons some choose to no longer eat meat, but some of the more popular reasons I hear the vegetarians listing for turning to their vegetarian food recipes include the increasingly popular believe that the meat we eat today is less healthy for our body than it was in years gone by; the scientific evidence that is revealing the truth that our culture?s ?mass production? style of ?farming? is not doing good things to our environment; and the increasing awareness we have of animals, of the emotions and experience they?re living, and the connection we share with them.

In terms of how meat is becoming less healthy to eat, the growing concerns mostly have to do with the growth hormones that are used to fatten the animals up to and have them produce more. With all those synthetic hormones we inject into our livestock today, some of those chemicals find their way into our own body, after the animal has been slaughtered, cleaned, packaged, and ended up on our dinner plate.

Also, keeping the animals cooped up on smaller patches of land with little or no room to roam means they end up getting less exercise, which produces fatter, more unhealthy animals, which is less healthy for us because we are eating those animals. Some people also feel strongly that the very strong fear emotion chemicals these animals experience while their lives are ending at our hands, flood into every tissue of the animals body in that final moment and results in chemical toxins getting trapped in the meat we package from this process, that are harmful to eat. This is simply one more reason people are denying themselves meat today and only eating what they believe to be the healthier vegetarian meals.
