To help us meet our current and future growth objectives, we are seeking a senior HR Business Partner to lead our HR operations in our fast growing US and International Divisions. Located in Chicago, Illinois, this senior role requires a versatile leader who can design, develop and execute HR Strategy while being a trusted advisor to business partners at every level of the organization.? Reporting to the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, this position will collaborate as a member of the global HR Leadership team.
Principle Areas of Responsibility
?
The Director of Human Resources will have full oversight for HR strategy and processes, supporting business executives within our US and International Divisions.? This is a fast paced, high impact role requiring flexibility to develop strategy, provide advice and hands-on execution of key HR initiatives. This includes:
- Designing and implementing leading edge H.R. practices within a multi-jurisdiction client group, in collaboration with the Executive Vice-President & Chief Human Resources Officer and as part of the Senior H.R. Leadership Team.
- Acting as a change agent to support business executives in ?driving change that positions the organization for future growth and success
- Collaborating with the Director of Talent Acquisition and Development to roll out? Recruitment and Talent Development initiatives such as Proactive Talent Sourcing,? Talent Retention, Performance Management and Succession Planning;
- Collaborating with the Director Global Rewards and HRIS to implement the ?health and welfare, pension plan and all compensation programs within the US and International Divisions
- Providing leadership in promoting the development of a positive employee relations environment.

The Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We Seek
- Deep knowledge of HR Best Practices, gained through practical experience as a ?senior manager/Director within a large, multi-national professional services organization
- Strong business acumen and business partnering skills and a demonstrated track record in applying highly creative solutions to the practice of human resources.
- Minimum undergraduate degree in human resources management, business administration or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a leadership position within the H.R. function.
- A combination of both strategic thinker and ?thought leader? as well as the willingness and ability to roll up their sleeves to execute programs flawlessly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to speak multiple languages would be a definite asset.
- Current knowledge of labor laws, diversity awareness & compliance.
- Resourceful, creative and flexible team player who thrives in a highly collaborative environment
- Very strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize information quickly and devise strategies to resolve issues in a consistent and business savvy manner.
- Strong computer skills and a thorough understanding of the application of technology in the field of human resources.
- Willingness and ability to travel to our offices in the US and internationally.
Please note: as the position will be based out of Chicago, qualified candidates currently residing in this geography is highly preferred.
