Cloud brokerage firm to create 12 jobs in Dublin

A new cloud services brokerage, Cloud Compare, is to create 12 new technical and sales jobs in Dublin this year. The company is also planning to expand into the UK market.

The company provides professional services to introduce cloud through planning, research, independent expert advice, and project management while filling the gap between the organisation and the cloud providers.

Cloud Compare has developed a five-stage framework called Cloud Adoption Framework for SMEs (CAFS) in conjunction with research carried out by University College Cork to assist businesses with moving their data, applications and business processes to the cloud.

Cloud Compare already has 30 cloud service providers both in Ireland and worldwide on its panel of recommended providers. These include Microsoft, Another 9, Auxilion, Fort Technologies, Novosco and Let?s Operate. These companies will form the panel of providers that Cloud Compare will engage as part of their Cloud Adoption Framework.

?Through the Cloud Compare brokerage service, businesses will be provided with independent advice regarding their individual cloud computing requirements,? Eamon Moore, CEO and founder of Cloud Compare, explained.

?We will in turn recommend the most appropriate service through one of our cloud partners or through a tendering process based on our research of their requirements. Our aim is to provide businesses with the tools and techniques to evaluate and adopt cloud technology within a quality controlled environment,? Moore said.
