Illinois Governor Pat Quinn formed a security task force the Internet with the role of examining what the State of Illinois do to protect its industries and infrastructure from cyber attacks. The 12-member task force, the first of its kind in the United States as a whole, is composed of representatives of different sectors in Illinois including the country?s Government, the Federal Government, aerospace, telecommunications, finance and education sectors. In addition, the Department of Homeland Security is expanding its support to all necessary reference task force.

The Mission of the Internet to distinguish and identify security threats may constitute privacy issue for Internet users from using the Internet, search engines, Web servers, browsers and Internet service providers, government ministries and not use the collected information to think about new methods, or changes that may prevent serious Internet security threats, from materializing.
