ST. LOUIS - David Freese hit a two-run homer with two out in the sixth inning to power the St. Louis Cardinals to a 5-3 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday, tying their best-of-five National League division series at 2-2.
Game 5 is Friday night, and the winner advances to the NLCS.
Roy Oswalt took the loss for the Phillies, giving up five runs on six hits in six innings.
Jason Motte pitched a perfect ninth inning for the Cardinals.
